ABOUT ME

I love immersing myself at the intersection where emerging innovations meets business practicalities. My most favourite experience is in executing a project that combines my engineering knowledge and programming experience with entrepreneurial understanding; Finderr, which aims to give independence to people with visual disabilities. By providing a quick and easy way to find lost items around the house by leveraging the advances in Machine Learning, for sub centimetre object tracking in 3D Space, and SLAM for indoor navigation.

  • Designed and implemented a solution for an automated feature flag deprecation and removal system in Python and Swift.
  • The system was rolled out to production during the internship and led to a 30% decrease in active feature flags; this will potentially lead to less feature rollout mistakes in the future.

  • Created a dataset of 1,200 images which was used for training a ML model which achieved in 93% accuracy in object detection.
  • Created and trained several Tensorflow and Turicreate ML models in Python and implemented them into iOS using Swift.
  • Developed in iOS app using Swift which used a YOLO model to track several fingers in real- time for interaction with virtual objects in a AR Scene.

  • Developed a system which uses computer vision to allow paraplegic people to control MacOS with Facial movements this tool was developed using coreML and Swift.
  • Developed a learning App for a client which aims to allow teachers to monitor the learning progress of students. With in the first three weeks of deployment the app has led to a 33% increase in student grades. - It also currently holds a 4.8 star rating on the App Store.

A fully automated malaria detection system powered by a small usb microscope and with a companion iPhone app that allows operators to easily keep track of the tests that they have administered it leverages a custom build neural network for image classification.

Imagine Cup 1st Place EMEA Finals & 3rd Place World Championship

The team created an app solution which uses Cognitive Services and Virtual Machines to help make finding lost objects accessible to everyone through their phones, including visually impaired individuals. Prize: USD15,000 and a spot in the 2019 World Championship

Azure Champ Challenge winner

My team and I won this prize out of 45 competing teams with the project finder. This is an app that can find lost items in the home. This is intended to simplify everyday life especially for people with visual impairments, illnesses such as Alzheimer's or older people

WWDC 2018 Scholarship recipient

Once a year Apple gives talented students the opportunity to receive a scholarship for their annual developer conference in California. Scholarship applicants must create an interactive Swift playground which is then judged together with an essay, in a global competition.

Esri Prize Winner

Esri gave out a $5000 cash prize for the best use of Esri technologies. My team and I have won this price, with Augmentify, an augmented reality city guide application for iOS we made use of the Esri APIs as well as Apple's ARkit.

Qualcomm best IoT Hack

Qualcomm gave out the IoT price at Oxford Hack 2017. My team and I have won this price, with the project, Personify which is an AI therapist powered by Alexa and Qualcomm Dragon board, for image capture and emotional analytics using a neural net.

MLH Prime Europe

April 2017

First Prize Winner

At MLH Prime Europe, my team and I won the first prize with a project, Automated Search System, which is in AI drone search and rescue solution. Our project aimed at automating the entire process of search and rescue. We used DJI drones and machine learning to analyze a live video feed, to Detect victims and tag their location in real-time.

Incubate X London

August 2016

Hackathon Winner

At Incubate X London, my team and I developed an intelligent fitness and health tracking application. Some of the leading features include noise exposure tracking which would send a notification to the user if dB levels with go over a predetermined threshold. Another highlight was UV exposure tracking this feature would alert the user to unsafe exposure levels.
